ABOUT ORIS
Oris is an independent Swiss watch company founded in Hölstein in 1904. Today, it’s one of the most established names in mechanical watchmaking, delivering high-functioning, stylish, sustainably produced watches at prices that make sense. In 2021, Oris was certified climate neutral as the first independent mechanical watch company by the independent climate action experts ClimatePartner. Oris encourages the use of recycled materials in luxury watchmaking, and supports conservation and humanitarian organisations all over the world through its watches and communications. Above all, Oris is defined by the credo: ‘Go your own way’.

Oris began making pilot’s watches in the 1910s at the dawn of aviation and has pioneered in the field ever since. The Big Crown, one of Oris’s signature designs, was first introduced in 1938, and continues to inspire the collection today.
